Ndaroini factory was built in 1984 and is owned by smallholder coffee growers in the Gatundu subregion. Located on the foothills of Mount Kenya, the area has deep, red volcanic soil and is abundant with nutrients. Fed by the water of Mount Kenya’s snowcap and blessed with relative cool and medium precipitation, this area is optimal for coffee production. To find SL28 separation in Kenya is pretty rare these days, but we were fortunate enough to find this coffee during our trip to Kenya back in January.
