Mustefa is a smallholder with 18 hectares in the western region of Agaro. Sitting above 2,000 meters, his farm produces coffees of impressive density, which when paired with his oversight of two washing stations (one primarily for washed, one for naturals) creates a recipe for consistently impressive coffees. Having spent time in and cupped extensively in this region, this lot stood out for its uniqueness of profile - with notes of mango, grape, and more delicately nuanced florals than the “black tea” that we most often find.
