Gaharo holds a special place in the heart of Long Miles Coffee. This is not just one of the hills in their story, it is the hill where the journey began. Bukeye Washing Station rests at the foot of Gaharo Hill, and has its own granite-filtered well - used for the washed processing of freshly-delivered cherry. All of the coffee delivered to Bukeye undergoes a stringent, multi-phase system of sorting, fermenting, washing and drying - ensuring a quality and consistency that stands alone in the region.
