Juan Peña has built an immensely impressive name for himself with the standout production from his farm, Hacienda La Papaya. He has been at the forefront of high-end specialty production in Ecuador since 2010. Yacuri is a new farm that Juan has established - further south, where the Andes meet the Amazon. This washed Mejorado is in our opinion the purest expression of what has garnered Juan so much acclaim - an unadulterated presentation of terroir, cultivar and processing.
